Photographer’s Note
Another part of the Wachocostinook Brook. This was taken 1 week later in the fall season, hence the many more leaves. In the very distant background you can just make out someone's front porch...Funny, when I originally parked the car and hopped down to the stream bed and looked upstream, I was a little shocked to see the house all way back there. Anyway, I like this shot because it really is a great example of what autumn is like down in the valleys...much more intimate than seeing an entire mountainside covered in fall colors. I will have one more Wachocostinook Brook photo to be posted at a later date.
I did use an ND filter so that I could increase the exposure time to really get the water to smooth out.

Very nice job with the long exposure, effecitve composition with depth and great colors.
I like this composition better than the last photo of the brook. I found the tree trunk in the front of the other one too distracting.

I am never sure why shots get reviewed or not, this one is certainly better that what it has gotten. While I am not a huge fan of soft water I think the longer exposure is what makes this one so alive. Fine capture.

Hi Jeff,
You've on a roll of late. This is just my sort of scene. A strong near/far construct with a very interesting backdrop. The light fog really adds to the feeling and the blue stream works great as a lead in line surrounded by the fall foliage.
Cheers!
