SailFest 2007 at the New London waterfront.

I have uploaded 3 others from this fireworks display but in this one I decided to crop in a little. Some of the fireworks exploding lower in the sky create a nice silhouette of the pier and the people standing on it.

wow!! Sky is on fire....

Really pretty fireworks shot. I love the use of the silhouetted people on the dock.

Wow, amazing fireworks shot! Including the pier foreground really helps the fireworks stand out even more so than just against the sky. Great job.

An impressive fireworks shot (which I normally pass by) but this one definitely captures the attention. I like that you didn't focus on the tops of the fireworks in the night sky, and opted to include this silhouetted dock. An excellent result.

David

Hello Gregory,
Beautiful colors and fantastic light, very nice composition and point of view, lovely silhouettes and good sharpness.

Hi Gregory,
This fireworks image seems so much more eye-catching than those normally seen on TE....I think it's because you've cropped in and have included some human element in the shot. The fact that I can see the people on the pier enjoying the display, makes me feel as if I too am right there. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Hi Gregory,
There is something at your picture , maybe the lighr, maybe catched move of flares - for sure ... something. Great composiotin. Best for me are three plans: 1st people , 2nd flares, 3rd building with lights at line on the left from quay.
Once again - respect :)
