April Scavenger Hungt: Tallest Building In A City:
This is the Waterbury-Republican Newspaper's Clock Tower.
The Tower opened July 12, 1909 and ever since has been the tallest builting in this City full 2 story homes. Almost 100 years now. It is modeled after the Torre del Mangia at the Palazzo Publico in Siena, Italy. This stands 240 feet high with 318 steps leading up to the top. Seth Thomas Co. made the clock with a dial 16-feet in diameter with 5-foot tall Roman numerals. There are also eight gargoyles at the top that look out over the city.

I like your choice to shot something different!.Good colors, nice contrast (one side of it is dark). There is something on the bottom left side - clone it!. I've also added this to the April's theme.
BTW - what's on the bottom of this building?

Nice framing of Watterbury's tallest building. Your note is also interesting and the sky is very nice. good shot for the hunt!

Nice entry into "the hunt", Belal. Upward-looking shots against an impressive sky can always have a good impact, and yours is certainly a fine example. The tower looks like a beautiful old structure, and you captured it well, slightly off-centered, with good colors and contrast. I agree with Omri's suggestion to clone that small corner that peeks into your frame at the bottom left ;-) Well done, and you also wrote a very informative note.

Nice picture of the pride of Murderbury. Hasn't it been 6:05 there for some time? Nice contrast, where did you find all that information?

I like everything in your picture, ,,:
1.a good angle for viewing the tower
2.a good hour , the shaddows made are perfect
3.the contrast of the rough/brown / warm texture of the tower with the soft/ blue / cool sky
..
only U should've cropped it a bit more at the bottom to avoid the top of that building..

great angle,Belal!
simple but very nice shot, with very well composed the building-tower.the colors captured very good with great contrasr between them.light & shadow well managed.
it needs a bit cropping in bottom for a part of the other building, still nice,it's not important, but you & me must be careful;)
I like it,Dear Belal.
well done!

A great symbol of Waterbury. It has been through a lot, the flood of '55, hurricanes, etc. and it is still standing. This is my favorite building in Waterbury. Keep up the good work and keep posting.
