I took this picture standing on top of a Dam not to far from my house. The top of the dam has a walkway on it so people can go take a walk or take pictures, etc. I thought it was a nice view.

You are right, it is a nice view and you have captured it well.
It is obvious it was not a kind sky so you have handled the light well.
Your POV and DOF are great in the way we are drawn down the valley.
