Memoirs from an unforgettable visit...
As I landed on their island I quickly reached the center square of the village. The inhabitants were entering a large hut. It seemed as though the entire village, young and old, men and females, rich and poor, everyone was going in. One could not guess what the mysterious event that was drawing everyone in could’ve been. The village and its surroundings were nicely decorated with colorful ornaments and bright lights (as I was going to find out later as the night fell). Nevertheless, the main attraction seemed to take place inside the large central hut. Everyone was walking in and you could read the excitement and the anticipation on their faces. The shaman must’ve been inside the hut. My memory fades into nothingness as far as what happened next is concerned...
I can’t tell you whether I got in along with everybody else or not, or even how I came across this magnificent image... but amazing sounds come back to me as if I dreamt it all but this one image tells me it, whatever this was, actually happened for real. A magical thing must’ve happened in there.
