[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Split Rock overlook is located in Hurd Park in East Haddam, Ct. It's a fairly easy walk up to this beautiful sight of the river valley. It is on the east bank of the Connecticut River and was the very first state park on the river.

Hi Kalie,
Wonderful high perch to gather this fine image of the beautiful Ct. River valley. The lush green hardwood forrest contrast beautifully with the blue river water. The little bit of evergreen makes a nice frame for this composition.
