[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It took this shot on one of my sojourns into the land of cheese and groovy water parks. I took a side road, got lost and ended up in Kohler, Wisconsin. It isn't a large town, but the company that is it's namesake keeps the town well to do by outward appearances. These water towers caught my eye because they looked to my eye like flying saucers. I cropped the shot to square format and converted it to black and white. This is the result. I have also posted the color original for those who are interested as a workshop.

Very funny and original shot. The B&W gives and old 50's films touch to the picture. Good work Hubert.

Superb shot, Hubert!

Your shot reminded me couple of scenes from the 'War of the worlds' movie. The reservoirs indeed look like flying saucers that just have landed. Perhaps the only minor distracting element is the name 'Kohler', it would be interesting to see the same B&W version but with the erased name. Anyway, that's for sure a very interesting photo, I like it a lot.

Hello Hubert,

Very funny shot. It makes me thinking about some Science Fiction movies of the fifties as the War of the worlds.
Great job for the lightning of the overall presentation.

when I saw the thumbnail version it totally reminded me to UFOs and the B&w makes it feels like a scene of the TV series.
