This is the Brooklyn Bridge's little brother in Cincinnati, OH. Like the Brooklyn Bridge, this bridge was design by architect John A. Roebling.
At the time of construction in 1866, the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world. It was used as the template for the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The bridge spans the Ohio river and connects the state of Ohio to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. |
