This was a Cypress South in Southern Illinois near Horseshoe Lake. There has been a lot of flooding there lately so that water has been really high.

Bill,
Really nice photo. Good sharpness and depth of field. My only suggestion is I would crop out some of your northwest corner because that is the only unsharp part of the photo. In addition, the "homeless" branch is a little distracting. Hope this is helpful to you.
Best regards,

An interesting forest scene with good composition..

Hi, Bill,
this is a really nice shot. I am surprised to find there are cypress swamps that far north. Really nice colors, great sharpness and detail, and excellent depth. Well done! Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly

Bill,
This is a nice shot of this cypress swamp. I did not know that there were cypress swamps this far north. This shot could have easily been taken in south Georgia of NE Florida where I live! The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail.

Asa
