"Lonely"

Lacking the human element, my walls stand silent, "Lonely". Can you see my STAR? The patina is beautiful. I am told people buy new stars looking like mine to decorate with, can you believe that. The lattice work on the porch shows the pride once taken in me.

I still have great potential - BUT HURRY, PLEASE - My "Lonely" walls yearn for the human element.

Taken 4 miles north of Concordia, Kansas in the middle of a large wheat field. The home is made of Kansas limestone, a popular building material in the early days that was used for many buildings and fenses. This stone is very plentiful in Northern Kansas.

Thanks for looking in.

Hi Larry!
Very interesting buildings. Nice lightness. Original delicate colors. Good landscape.
Greetings from Poland!

Howdy Larry

Good symmetry, between the 2 houses, with excellent choice of a wide angled, panoramic format. Excellent color & sharpness. Tfs!

Hi Larry,
I see they do not have to fear unpleasant neighbours here... nice image of rural housing that might be a bit too bright, but there are solutions to reduce this.
Have a nice day JY

Hi Larry,
a very nice picture. I like a lot the soft tones of it and the contrast to the blue sky. It expresses again a very relaxed and stressless mood.
Best regards
Thomas

Hello Larry. I like this composition. I like the open space and blue sky. Nice architecture in excellent view. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Larry,
This is a good shot, Depicting remote area of the midwest, life can seem lonely, or peaceful depending on your mood. The quality is just fine, however the light is strong at time of day. Perhaps, if you do live nearby, pick another time of day to photograph, early in the morning or late afternoon is best when light is not too strong can provide warmer tone. or perhap, when the storm's approachin, that would make the image so much more interest and drammatic. When I travel, I have no choice but to take the photo at whatever time I was at the place.
Take care and thanks for sharing.
Way
