[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Normally, here in northeast Wisconsin, the Christmas decorations vanish on the first warm January weekend or when the snow eases back a bit and gives way for a time to the January thaw.

Trouble is, we haven't really had a warm weekend or much of a thaw. So, in some ways, it still rather feels like Christmas -- or at least many folks are not much inclined to take down their decorations. In fact, I saw Christmas lights a couple of hours ago while driving my daughter to work.

So, here's a lingering bit of festive best wishes for you. Now, where's the egg nog and apple pie? :)

Hi Jim,
Excellent use of light brings beautiful gentle shadows to the sturdy 1920s syle home with the heavy ice hanging from the eves. The vivid blue Feb. sky offsets the fresh blanket of snow. Wonderful winter image.
Regards, Tom
