| Wisconsinites are notoriously fond of outdoor fun. This shot came after a week of bitter, unremitting cold. The sun broke through; the mercury hovered near 30°F (a brief, 24-hour flirtation, as it turned out), and the hillsides beckoned to the young and young at heart. After a long afternoon of sliding, snowboarding, and other snow frolicking, the crowd found it hard to give it all up for a little thing like sunset. |

Hey Jim,
you got it! I have been trying to picture this for 10 years. Either the weather is not right, the kids are not their, or I am not there. You did it!. Great topic for the northern hemisphere. Nicely outlined, with mixed childre, adults. I like it a lot.

Hi Jim,
Great winter scene it is so good to see these kids out in the fresh air enjoying some old fashioned fun instead of being stuck in the stuffy house behind a video game. Wonderful low light and details to this Norman Rockwell scene.
Regards, Tom
