[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After the parade festivities shown elsewhere in the travelogue, the day's events took us to the local American Legion hall.

There, just before the next part of the ceremonies were to commence, I spotted this girl so pleased to be wearing her grandfather's Legion cap. She was seated on the end of an aisle, and I had just a moment to take the shot, but it's turned out to be the one I personally like best of all of them from that day.

An old gentleman in the aisle behind her whispered that I had "made her day" as I slipped back to my seat. I have to tell you that she made mine, too.
