| This and the granddaughter wearing the American Legion cap are my personal favorites of the entire travelogue. This little boy, seeing the old Legionnaire salute after casting the wreath over the bridge, gets caught up in the solemnity of the moment and spontaneously decides he should do the same. No time to carefully compose or choose camera settings. I just took this one by reflex. |

Hi Jim, I too think this one is my favorite of your ongoing theme so far. I like your focus here on the boy with the retired soldier in the background out of focus. My only critique would be the odd half circle at the bottom of the boy's shirt. Oh, and there's a slight glare off the car in the background that catches my attnetion too--I'd be tempted to remove that. Nice spontaneous capture though.
