What happens when you build a modern energy plant in the middle of farm country? You get the unusual kind of dairy farm backdrop shown here. We're in a transition period from rural to urbanizing in much of our area. Sometimes the borders from one type of land use to another can be very abrupt.

Jim: I viewed the workshop version and prefer the landscape you present here.
It appears to have been photographed using a zoom lens at sunrise when the light is soft, which is a good idea for this scene, but the cows are high in contrast to where detail is lost. Perhaps change the aperture to ƒ7 or ƒ8 next time and see if it makes a difference.
A bit of colour balance work would fix up the colour cast as well.

This picture is very interesting and fits perfectly the title. It also suggests thinking about general human condition, which seems still being in evolution.
