Photographer’s Note
The next step on my weekend tour was McClintock Falls, in a park bearing the same name, about 15 miles west of Amberg, Wis., on the Peshtigo River.
In truth, the designation "falls" may be a bit hopeful on the part of the good tourism folks at Marinette County: As they admit, "This waterfall is a series of rapids with bridges for exceptional views."
It is quite true, however, that the bridges offer exceptional views and the park is a picturesque place. It calls to mind the kind of place Longfellow may have imagined when he wrote of "the murmuring pines and the hemlocks" in "The Song of Hiawatha."

Jim,
This is a nice shot of this small falls. The bridge adds a nice diagonal through the shot. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail. The trees frame the scene nicely.

Hi Jim
petit pont très invitant à la promenade dans la nature j'aime bien voir ce petit ruisseau couler en créant un petit peut d'écume, belle composition.

Hi Jim,
This lovely sylvan scene whispers tranquility with the gentle rapids and charming old wooden foot bridge.
What could be finer than stopping in the middle of this old span and losings oneself in ones thoughts.
