Photographer’s Note

Although we are in the digital era, no audio-books, no e-books, for me books must be in paper. I am always fascinated by bookstores and 2nd hand bookstores are even more appealing... maybe it´s the smell of old paper or the thought of how many people already read the book you hold in hands, i don't know...
Actually, my favourite book is a novel about books, Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451". Can you imagine a world where reading books is forbidden and firemen are paid to... burn books...?

Hello Marta,
It is funny, I justed looked at this photo before I saw the workshop you did on my bridge scene. I love book shops too and your view through the window of this one is great. The reflections on the glass add character to the photo. Thank you for sharing.

Linda fotografia que tens aqui, Marta. Tão linda que a vou colocar no meu tema "Window Shopping" (se não te importas, claro está). A mistura de cores e de imagens de dentro e de fora da loja (reflexos) é simplesmente fantástica e cria uma sensação de irreal, sensação essa que é muitas vezes encontrada nos livros que lemos. Gosto muito.
