Photographer’s Note

I almost missed this one. It was a quick shot from the car door, warming up while I waited for my child to be ready for school. A recent sunrise. But then I thought, what better way to show our corner of the world than from our very own doorstep, especially when the morning sun is staging a display such as this? Welcome to my world...and thanks for continuing to share yours!

P.S. -- I sharpened with The Gimp's new (at least I think it's new) light and shadows USM plug-in. This plug-in is a keeper.

Hi Jim,
Very soothing late day sky that graces this lovely mid winter scene. The dorment trees stand out well in the low light and the little mid of smoke coming from the cozy homes adds warmth to this fine image.
