| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I really don't know what to write for this note. This is a candid shot of the girl as she attempted to feed her nephew at her graduation party last month. She didn't get to far with that, as the little boy only wanted to play with his cake.
What makes this picture so special is that the girl is very camera shy. If she knows that a camera has her targeted, she will drop what she is doing and play hide and seek.
Bear Creek, Wisconsin (the town where this picture was taken), is barely a speck on the map. The town of four hundred people is just big enough that if I blink, I'll miss it when driving through.
The town itself is located about 30 miles WNW of Appleton, WI, a small city on the northern end of Lake Winnebago.

This was originally a workshop photograph. I would like to thank shopgirl for providing some advice to make this shot better. To get this version, I cropped the photo so the girl's legs weren't showing in the foreground, and I brightened the image. |
