Normally, here in northeast Wisconsin, the Christmas decorations vanish on the first warm January weekend or when the snow eases back a bit and gives way for a time to the January thaw.
Trouble is, we haven't really had a warm weekend or much of a thaw. So, in some ways, it still rather feels like Christmas -- or at least many folks are not much inclined to take down their decorations. In fact, I saw Christmas lights a couple of hours ago while driving my daughter to work.
So, here's a lingering bit of festive best wishes for you. Now, where's the egg nog and apple pie? :) |
