Photographer’s Note
Jones Park is situated in a ravine near the heart of downtown Appleton. Steep paths and stairways offer the only ways in and out. It's a charming place to visit, and the leaf-strewn stairways add to its charm. On the day after a blustery November evening, the steps can be more than a little slippery, of course, and those who enjoy its beauty must enter and leave with care.

Hi Jim,
Nicely taken. And very nostalgic too! Had the sun rays on the staircase been more prominent!!

Hi Jim,
This wonderful old staircase is seen in clear light with excellent color and details. I love the shadows working their way down the stairs leaving striking patterns on the weather worn wood.

Jim,
Interesting the shapes and the colors in this composition. Lighting is also very nice in this beautiful shot. Well done.
