Hi John,

I usually don't pay attention watching who "is neighbour", but I find curious the coincidence of me and Peter having been the firsts to write about posts of J. Munro and you.

It's nice to see you back... And in excellent shape!

It's a very attractive and moody view, with a wonderful "golden sunlight", like Peter called it, coming from behind the leaves. I like the way the log and the tree encircle the reflection.

I am amazed how you could get so fine sharpness in a so big image with so much vegetation.

It seems that you aren't certain about the future yet. I hope things go well soon.

John,
not seen a lot of you here lately, but this image with that wonderful golden light in the background shining through the leaves is the best sign that you're still around and keen of photography. The composition is a good one and I like the detail of the log in the very foreground to provide some additional feeling of depth.

Beautiful shot, John.
I love that backlighting coming through the new leaves. The color is lovely and and the composition is excellent as usual. Very nice symmetry with the two different logs and those nice reflections. Hello John,

This resembles a mid-19th century landscape painting, the type of bucolic scene painted by Jules Dupré, or even John Constable. The placid water, the reflection of the tree, a dead tree trunk — composed well and exposed flawlessly.

Hi John, The overhanging tree branch has added natural beauty to the shot &, you have really captured a wonderful reflection, I love the dead trunk in the foreground, the different array of greens, along with the yellow makes it feel untouched, great photo, kind regards Wilson.

The morning light is very beautiful in the way that it tries to pass through the leaves of the tree. It's resulted in nice colours and nice reflections. A very good shot of nature.

Olá John, quite an attractive green image. I don't know if I like more the reflection or the yellow light passing through the real tree, but the combination of the two works very well. I'm imagining a rotation of 90º to the left... :))
