| These pillars are part of the entrance to Mt. Rushmore. I shot them during a rare 15 minutes. About 0600 -0615 AM. The early morning light is pink. the Rushmore heads take on a nice pastel glow that contrasts from the harsh white they are normally phogoraphed in. These pillars seemed to almost be on fire in the pink light. thirty minutes later they were concrete white again and filled with people coming and going. |

Hi Anthony
When you said pillars at Mt. Rushmore, I really amazed since I have the same frame taken in a broad daylight. The early morning light in this frame adds more drama to the picture. The curved pilars and symmetry are awesome. Great one!
well captured symmetrical pillars, soft light works well to make the photo stand out, well done, happy new year!

In a word - Wow!!! The light is fantastic and I didn't even know there was such a thing as 6am :-)
Only criticism is the expanse of black in the top right. Cropping down to the top of the nearest right hand pillar removes that without, in my view, affecting the overall image or composition.
Nice symmetry and light. Interesting photo. Happy New Year.
令人有疑幻疑真的感覺!

Dude... This caught my eye right away, I really love the pattern and the lighting you've captured. I'm not sure if you have the capability to straighten this image through a crop in PS but it would be worth your effort if you do.
Excellent reason to get up and going that early in the morning!
