[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little location is not listed on the map or at least wasn't at the time i stumbled on it. It is located next to Interstate 90 about midway across South dakota. (I-90 is an incredible route across the northern states in the fall). The location is a collection of sets from the movie Dances With Wolves. There is an admission price to drive through it, but if you take the perimter road outside the property, you get a much nicer view and that incredible South Dakota sky all for free!

You can almost feel the wind coming across the plains. It's ironic that these very typical images of the plains are movie sets. Nice composition very well captured. My only suggestion would be a frame.

High Plains, Big Sky...

Nice shot, I love the soft, warm pinks and oranges. The composition is great, with the low horizon emphasizing the sky nicely without losing any impact with the foreground. It could stand to be sharpened a little bit, but other than that a great shot.
