[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this picture a few days ago as I passed by this bridge. Covered bridges like this one are rare and fun to shoor. This particular bridge was built in 1889 and finally retired to this place in 1991.

I originally shot this in color and later converted to B&W. I used my 18-55mm lens with a uv filter. The bridge is fairly long so finding the angle was difficult. I hope you like it. All critiques are welcome.

Hi Kevin!
I like the covered bridges, but I have never seen that in life. You have a good shot of it.
Thanks for sharing!
Csilla

Hello Kevin,

It would be nice to post the colour version as a workshop so we can see the difference. The image is very nice in black and white. The placement of the bridge is very effective to make it the main subject. I also like the way the branches on the right create a natural frame to the view. Well composed image.

B&W is good here, evoking a much earlier time. The almost bare branches add to the mood. Nicely framed.

hi kevin
infact i like the black and white composition. with branches showing up in the foreground, the mood certainly takes turn towards agedness. great framing...

Hello Kevin. I have heard many spooky stories about covered bridge across the North America. This one is well captured from low angle. Good contrast and saturation in good depth. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Hi Kevin,
I like the angle you have captured this lovely old bridge at allowing for a full view. Excellent details and sharpness to this fine historic piece. I have several wood bridge shots in my archives as well.
Regards, Tom

Hi Kevin,
Very well presented shot of the covered bridge. I like the branches overhanging on the right. This adds some interest and perspective to the scene. The black & white conversion works well too.

Hello Kevin,
Thank you for showing us this beautiful refurbished bridge, good point of view, in diagonal, with perfect sharpness, details and good choice of black and with, although I'd be curious to see the colour version. Well composed and well seen.
All the best.

Hi Kevin,
Really nice angle to take this shot. Keeping the branch in the frame was a very good idea.
Wonderful work.
Well done,
Shaeri

Good perspective, excellent technical quality, fine composition and the use of B/W works with this picture.

I'm a big fan of covered bridges to. And to show that great minds think along similar lines here is a bridge picture I took:

Hi Kevin
Superb pov showing the venerable structure. B & W is appropriate for this kind of picture, ageless.

Pierre
