Photographer’s Note

Taken a few weekends ago at Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio on a quick "warm-up" trip. There wasn't a lot of color in the foliage yet, but there was a surprising amount of green throught the Old Man's Cave area. This was shot at the top end of Old Man's Cave at Upper Falls. About the only thing in the area that can be used for foreground was this log. Taken just after the sun had come up around 7am. 30sec exposure at f/10. 20mm on 17-40L.

This photograph is a simple but beautiful, the smooth water makes this photograph so serene and peaceful.
