Photographer’s Note

VECTREN Air Show at Dayton International Airport (DAY). July 29, 2006.

The air-show did not start until 1.ooPM and after the usual fly-bys and parachute jumps, the Blue Angels started their routine at 3.3oPM when the light is at its harshest. It was 92F with 70% humidity as well. The sky was no longer blue and was washed-out.

bien vu pour la formation de ces beaux bolides...je sais que c'est difficile de les prendre en photo, vu leur rapidité et la luminosité qui n'est pas toujours bonne ...le ciel n'est pas bleu, je viens d'en prendre également dans un airshow...bon cadrage...merci du partage...amicalement Bi

Hello Anand

Doesn't really matter if the sky wasn't blue anymore, I fell the f-18 stand better out if set with a dimmer background.
The colour of the plames look a little dim, but with light clouds and sharp light I woulden't expect anuthing else.

That's right the sky color is not important regarding the shot you captured that day!
I know, by experience, that sort of photos are very difficult to manage!
