Photographer’s Note
This is another picture in a series of the Island Park Bridge in Dayton. I ride my bicycle past this bridge almost everyday. I normally don't ride with my camera, but I always am on the lookout for pictures to capture on another day. I noticed that if the sky was clear and sunny at 9:00AM until about 9:30AM, that the undersides of the bridge were wonderfully lit by the sun reflecting on the water. The light changes dramatically depending on the wind conditions. On this morning the water was very still and flat as there was almost no wind.
I am trying to relearn how to take pictures following my fatal brain injury last year. Studying your subject at different times of day and even year was a key to Ansel Adams capturing such dynamic images. Decisive Moments are not always spontanious.

What a beautifule wake up scene. Your picture is very good with the light of the sun that come under the bridge, all the reflection on the water and the duck give a nice touch of life.
Your composition is excellent, which give a perfect result. TFS

Hai David, I like the focus of this photo on the reflection. The duck swimming past is extra nice to add some ripple.

Hello david
Hoow are you doing? It has been some time that I have not heard from you and i am wondering.
This is something I like to see,the play of light ,at differrent time of the day,on the same object.
Good POV and framing and it is nice to have the duck participating.

i like the mirror effect created by the water, accentuated by the soft light filtering through the bridge, the duck in the foreground adds a nice touch to your perspective. well done, and hope your recovery from the injury meant you'll be able to take more photos, look forward to see more of your postings dude..regards.
