Photographer’s Note
Here is another detail on the Island Park Bridge in North Dayton. This bridge was built in 1925 and has a lot of very nice sculptures decorating it. Most are the Sea Horses that I uploaded earlier, but there are two of these Mermen playing horns as well. This one and the other one were both hidden by foliage so I had to break some branches just to be able to get this picture. There is a signature above this sculpture - DMB. I have not yet discovered who DMB was, but I will try to learn more about this person and update this note to include this information.

Good compositin, I like it and I learn something more about your town and about the english too, in others words, Mermaid, if for femenine and merman is for masculine, I think, this is a french word, mer, means sea, rigth?. Interesting.
