Well, a well-caught proof of the cold weather in Columbus. Because of this icing many branches on many trees have cracked and fallen down if you have noticed. Another fellow photographer has posted these photos from Columbus icing. Have a look.

To the metallic branches of the tree of Ohio, hairs have left him ice. Very good detail, that one is increased by the defocusing of the bottom, without letting guess the ice shining in the rest of the branches.

Good shot, gives the idea of how cold it was. It might be better if you can defocus the bacground just to emphasize the branch more and make it distinguishable.
