[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took a trip South this past weekend particularly to find this field. Several years ago on another trip to America we came upon this field which at the time was Sunflowers. I took a picture with my Canon EOS Elan & 300mm lens. It turned out quite well but I have since lost the negative. I have a very small scanned version and had hoped to replace it with a larger digital one. Oh Well . . . best laid plans . . . I will try again next year. This posting is two photos stitched together with Photo Stitch. ISO 100, f5.6, 45.9mm focal length, 1/1000. No PS adjustment other than Unsharp Mask and Save for Web.

Hi John, Welcome to TE. Good composition of this rich-looking agricultural scene. As your title states it is almost time for harvest. Good colours and the utility shed well positioned for balance. Well done.
