[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An environmental portrait of a prairie dog in the North Dakota Badlands at Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

I set up the camera on a miniature tripod and used a long remote cord to stay away from the hole. After about an hour of waiting in the summer heat, this little guy finally popped his head up to see what was going on.

Hey, great shot! Maybe a little more sky and a small flash fill-in? I like the color and the wide angle - can't get too wide for me!

Hi John,

Well timed with beautiful colours and an excellent DOF. TFS

Hi John,
Worth the effort, it looks like he showed you his good side but you did not get a smile. Nice panoramic shot with rich green colors.
Regards, Tom
