[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this after photographing a violent prairie storm in North Dakota. I was muddy, soaked and on my way home (with my gear packed!) when the storm started to clear and I saw this scene forming. The light was changing rapidly, so I jumped out and set up a tripod. Almost no PShop intervention was necessary, except to clean up a few dust specks from the original slide.

Unfortunately, this image cannot come close to the absolute grandeur of actually being there watching it.

Absolutely amazing, unreal colors. A noise is a bit excessive, but I guess that's not your fault!

OMG! This is unreal! Well done. The light is perfect, the detail in the clouds is breath taking. I'm sure that eventhough the composition is amazing, i'm sure that the true view must have been crazy!
