The Mondry Grain Co. elevator outside of Ardoch, North Dakota. This child's bicycle had been sitting there for some time, the chain was all rusted and it was buried in the snow.

Wonderful country pleasantness. Fine scene & frame. Good composition, blue colors.
Sorry my english -Marcin

I like the almost post-nuclear atmosphere to this shot.

Hi Brian! Good composition and a good perspective. Congrats.
I've done a WS.

This one has a nice nostalgic feel to it because of the nature of the imagery. Composition wise I think I myself would've gone closer in so that the house is separated out from the tree. The reduced DOF works for this shot and in fact even lesser DOF would've be fine too IMO. The slight blurring of the house details emphasizes the look of abandonment. I like it!!

I am drawn to this photo because of the message of melancholy and isolation. The story though is complicated by too much detail. The bike and pole for example could be an image on its own. Therefore the old grain elevator also would be its own image. Nonetheless, Im intrigued by the scene. I would love to know where Ardoch is located.

Very original. The picture is well lit and composed. I like the old building in the background. It makes the composition a lot more interesting. Best wishes!

I love the story that is told by the photograph. Excellent job.

Somehow i believe this picture could be an excellent poster for a romantic/emotional movie!
