Photographer’s Note
Sadly this "little bird of love" as the stone says was not given a chance to live her life to the fullest. Had this little bird lived, she would have been over 75 today. Cold North Dakota winters have taken their toll on these old stones. This shot was taken in Infrared, slightly colorized and added noise in pp. The actual exposure time was 16.88 seconds. I've reposted to correct some problems with radial density. I seem to have lost the EXIF in the process, if you're interested in seeing look at the original.

Sad story, but a great photo! I liked the noised in the phot, you used a high ISO to made that or was a photoshop filter?
Good shadows!

Very nice shot! In my opinion it's underestimated. Very nice composition and shooting B&W in infrared always produces interesting results. I like these dense shadows on the pale grass.

In agreement with Verol's comment.
this is a lovely shot and noise was a well choice with the stone statue in focus.
See you around
