Zoos, obviously, are good places to photograph exotic animals and birds if you can't take a trip halfway round the world for a wildlife encounter in their natural habitat. However when shooting wildlife in zoos, I feel that the pictures that work best either zoom right in on the animals to make it as though they *are* wild, or makes a feature out of the zoo environment. The concrete wall and wire fence in your photo does not, in my opinion, add anything to the photograph.
