Sad Kids
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I was at my friends house during Thanksgiving and I saw this sign from his house. I wonder why these kids look sad. That is the sign for a park, should reflect happiness, fun times, but actually almost look like these two kids where abandoned by their parents.
Just a little humor to finish the week, hope you like it. |

hi, daniel! doing alright here. snowed in and now enjoying the pleasures of the infamous north-eastern "wintry mix". sounds like a cool bar drink, doesn't it? well, it's not :)
funny road sign indeed. good observation. reminds me of road-signs i saw in poland long time ago. the writing on the sign said something like "vipadki", which could be translated in english as "falling out" or "pouncing out", while the person on the sign obviously looked like a staggering drunk falling backwards onto the road... a few miles later we understood (in our own way) why the sign was there. the village (and the name of it could be translated into english as something like "teddy bear village") was full of drunk men. walking in zig-zags across the main road.
cheers,
kristaps
