Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken at a frozen lake in downtown Omaha. It was cold, but the light was great and the people were having fun skating there. So do I. This is my first post with my new camera and I hope you like.

Hi Ricardo
The silhoutte makes the interesting point here in your image that still maintaining some viewable area, such as the building.
The softening color of the sky is cool.
Interesting shot, pal.

Hi Ricardo,
Welcome back and an interesting shot where the light still allow us to make out the the presence of the skater. I like how the decorative lights helped to break the dark portion of the scene making it attractive. Well done!! All good wishes.

Hi Ricardo, it was certainly a challenge to capture this scene. The minor issue I have is the dark foreground covered the person who is skating. If not from your title and note, it will be difficult to see there's a person skating.

Este contraluz ficou muito bom. Você realmente é bom nas noturnas (pôr-do-sol, etc).
Cores ótimas, contraste e detalhes.
Muito bom!

Hi Ricardo,
A well composed low light shot. I like the great foreground of the icy blue surface with the silhouetted skater. The lights here and there enhance the festive scene and the modern office towers appear incongruous yet complementary to the shot. Very well seen and captured. Your new camera holds much promise.

It would have been cool to have a little more light, especially to appreciate the skating guy. Except that, it's a good night shot, with a great sharpness and contrast.
Enjoy your new camera.

Hi Ricardo, A beautiful shot of the city evening. You have well capture the time to take this picture with nice view of the buildings in contrast with the sky and the highlight of the decorations along the lake.
IMO, I may change the title such that the viewer would not trying to focus too much of the dog and the hard to identified skater, which is not as important as the entire picture as I think.

Its a great one of ice in town, I like it with the subject of the man just like here walking on the "water" and carrying his dog for a walk....
Construction of the picture is well done.
I like it

Your shot conveys a lovely mood. The colours of the sky and ice balance each other at the top and bottom of the frame.

Hello Ricardo, this is an intersting evening shot with the buildings making a good silhouette. The lights provide detail withing the darkness. And I like the skater, only just visible against the reflected light on the ice.

Hi Ricardo,
A good POV of the frozen lake and part of the city of Omaha in the background, the photo has a good composition.

Linda luz. TFS.
