...."A Taste of Heaven Ranch"....
I am looking over the gate to the entrance to
...."A Taste of Heaven Ranch"...., I have intentionally
left the power poles and lines in the image so
you could follow the lane back to ranch headquarters.
It is some distance back to headquarters which is
located behind the last pole and windmill and to the
right behind the hill.
This continues the series along the narrow canyon
road that started with the Corral than the Wagon
and this image is directly across the road looking
east from the Corral.
Thanks to everyone for looking in.

A very beautiful ranch, reminded me of the time I spent in Montana. This is very nicely composed image with nice ranch, big open space, lush and green vegetation and forrest and rolling hills backdrop. The clarity is not ideal with some haziness, but you captured and managed well the atmosphere and the essence of the ranch. the powerlines is a bit distracting, but there not much to do about, it's part of our environment. Sharpness can be a little better, though I do like the softness, pastel like quality. The horses, add much liveliness to the scene. Personally, I would have like to include a little more sky, so that the treeline is not touching the edge of the image. Either crop it more or give it more room.
Thanks Larry for this natural beauty.

The four or five horses have a specially fur, I see one almost out of the series from Bonanza a lot years ago.
Incredible that we see almost a prairy without houses or people, only a nice area and a green meadow with horses.
Nice composition and goos presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

Nicely done. You minimized the sky which looks to be rather blah anyway and concentrated on the landscape. You could use a little more contrast although with all those grasses it would have to be very subtle as I find that having to reduce an image to 200KB the pictire can soon look artificial.

Nice to see green pastures with horses grazing and roaming about. This would perhaps some non Americans would think of mid-America. It's a wholesome attractive image. I like it a lot. Best regards, Danilo

This is a very peaceful scene. Your composition is fine showing this landscape with the horses included. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF.

An image very bucolic and full of freedom. A good work.

de l'espace pour ces chevaux qui en ont bien besoin. Le cile est désespérément blanc et tu as bien fait de ne pas lui donner une trop grande importance dans ta photo.
Bien à toi.

I must confess that Nebraska is always a big space and your capture of this range and horses suited well to my imagination. Looks like a place of green pasture and rolling hills for a good ride!
Are they shy and you were not able to get closer?

Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté.
Il y en a un qui vous observe bien, vous l' avez saisit au bon moment.

Hello Larry. Very good use of light and shadow in this capture. The sharpness and details are well exposed with the horses in the center of attraction. The poles do not bother me here because it leads to the higher ground of the beautiful backdrop. Well done! Jusni
