...."Platte River Valley"....
This composition of the ...."Platte
River Valley".... in Central Nebraska,
USA, was taken I mile south of our home.
I am on the top of a large hill in a cattle
pasture looking North and East.
Below the hill the green field is Soybeans,
beyond that (Green/Brown field) is Corn.
The building site is the Horse Farm of
our neighbor to the East, beyond that more
Corn. The trees are the Platte River and
past that the hills to the North side of the
valley. Those hills are 12 to 14 miles away
from where I am standing.
A beautiful agricultural valley of cattle and crops
in Central Nebraska, USA.
Thanks to everyone for looking in.
Original, light crop, sized and sharpened for TE

Nebraska looks good here with such a low contrast view of the field and the valley looks so flat!
Good POV from this location. Life must be great for this country living.

sembra veramente un fiume ...verde questa pianura.
Il taglio allungato ne aumenta il senso di ampiezza.

You live in some nice country. I have never been to Nebraska. It is so green and where you love, rural.
A very nicely composed shot with soft colours and lovely light.

I like the different layers of elements in the landscape of the farm, the distant ranch is charming and help anchor our vision and than across the landscape. the colors of the earth tone are beuatiful and natural, not overly processed. Good composition. the sharpness and clarity can be a notch better. A tripod or faster shutter speed will help. Thanks Larry.

un paysage qui me fait penser à nos campagnes belges, celles du Condroz et de Campine qui sont des plateaux et non des plaines.
Une photo qui manque de netteté mais qui présente des couleurs naturelles.

Hello Larry. This wide view is beautiful. The layers of contrasting colors are like a painting with good foreground subject. Neat work and thanks for sharing. Regards. Jusni

That is a good panorama.
The light seem excellent for this type of composition and the colours give it a natural atmosphere.

belle photo de cette immence vallée aux différentes cultures, plate mais bien jolie et très géométrique.
Bien vu et bien pris.

It is amazing to see a landscape like this, with the fields stretching out like forever..!
I guess farming is easier than in many other locations I know...
A fine composition to show the vast landscape, good idea to include the trees in front to create a feeling of depth!

I like the visual effect of the striping of different colors in this landscape, and the oblong format of your framing.
The trees in foreground are a good introduction to take our look towards the far horizon.
