Some baby Robins were in a nest about eye level at this tennis center where our team played. It took a while but they finally got hungry and started opening their mouths. I wanted to get the shot with the mother feeding them but we had to leave. Maybe next year!

Hi, never mind this is a great shot, they are calling and hungry - well waited! Regards, Jean

Ditto. Worth the wait. They almost look like flowers.

Hello Mel,
Great photo of these two hungry robin chicks. Well done!
Stan

Nice focusing with a strong telephoto lens. I am hungry too.

Adam

This is amazing man. You captured at the moment while they are doing it. The yellow colors from their mouths even make this picture interesting. Hey try to saturate this picture a little bit more to see the green background and to see more yellow from the mouths. Well done my friend. Sothy

Hallo Mel!
Perfect work with your F/2.8 lens! And also amazing spring photo of young chicks. Well done,
Have a good weekend,
viktor

hi..
very good shot..well spotted...but need some correction...I did a ws for you hope you like it...SUBIR

Oh, Mel, this is simply wonderful. The center baby is nicely offset by the slightly blurred one in the back. Great detail, light and contrast for such a delicate shot. Well done!! Have a good weekend,
Shelly

Oh, how touching!!! I simply love it!!! Could have used a bit more contrast, but otherwise everything else is perfect...the framing....

Yasmeen

Hi Mel,

very nice shot! I like the focus only on one of the babies. That means a great DOF. Simply beautiful. Well done!

Carlos

Olá Mel,

Grande momento esse capturado por você!

Gosto do quadro e das cores... e da fome que parecem estar sentindo os filhotes no ninho!

This picture sat on my desktop for a while when you posted it. I never critiqued it, don't know why. I think it is such a beautiful moment that you were able to catch there! You were pretty patient to wait for them to scream like that, but it paid off. I guess that when it happens, it's hard to keep your calm and compose and expose the right way. The ws done for you is a very nice idea in my opinion, i think it's a better way to present it, although more space on the left would be better(maybe more space on the original?).
Take care,
Marc

Hi Mel,
I just noticed this in your collection - brilliant! They're so ugly that they just have to be cute! Best for the coming year. Thanks.
Dougie.
