[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this old man getting his coffee in front of the McDonalds and he was such an interesting man. As he walked he would swing his cane about as if he had no care in the world.

love this shot. there really is something youthful and energetic in his posture, like "oo-key, I've got my morning coffee. so, World, what do you offer me today?"
it might have been even more impressive to see the figure on the right in full and have more horizontal composition, not square. but it still is a captivating photo. (I confess - I was in a greally grumpy mood today, but this photo cheered me up. thanks :))
best,
Kristine

You know what I like the most in this shot is the colors and the activities that are going on in the picture... reading and drinking coffee. Nice sharpness. Great perspective. Well done my friend.

Hi, Mel,
this is such a cool shot. I love the contrasts in colors and the different lines and patterns. He is such a dashing looking old gent, too. Excellent mood and detail in this shot. Great job! Regards,
Shelly

Hi Mel. Nice shot of this defiant young man(!) with grey hair. A pause after a sip. The figure in the left(I wished to have it a full view)reading a book holding a coffee mug is all the more interesting. Cheers.

i love it but never tell it to Ronald otherwise he could conclude that eating MCDO burgers helps to get older and on my French mind, it's not possible!Great picture with contrast between blue and red.
Regards.
Claude.

Hey Mel,
I saw the title the other day, and wish I would've peeped out the photo then. I like the real low PoV with gramps sipping his Mcydees coffee which they just rated the best coffee here in the nyc. He stands out with those golden arches and red red wall.
