Snowy Arch
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
We drove through St. Louis just after a snowstorm had passed through the area. The area surrounding the famous arch was beautiful surrounded by the freshly fallen snow.

Decided to revisit this one. In the reposted image
-Tried a different crop
-Converted to B&W since it was almost there anyways
-Autolevels
-Sharpened with USM
-Different frame |

Hi Amber,
You've chosen interesting subject, very interesting presented, too. Very peaceful winter photo, with great trees and branches covered with snow. Well seen and captured.
Greetings,
Mirko
HI,
I see that you got real winters as well as us here in Ottawa. Good exposure and composition.
thanks,
Bonjour Amber

Bravo

Bonjour Amber,
A great tones and hue choice for this one.
It is almost monochromatic, very nice.
I like your POV, emphasizing snow, trees and of course the Arch.
Good job,
Regards,
JB.

Hi Amber,
The trees framing the water creates a beautiful scene .. the water is wonderful .. really leaps out at me ... the arch looming in the background .. it is like form a different world .. certainly creates a sense of place ..
thoughtful and really nice.
take care,
John
