Photographer’s Note
I did a 3 month tour of the US back in 1997 and loved getting out with the camera. Probably took the most shots in the SW (Arizon and Utah) as the colours and scenery in that part were inspiring.
However I spent a day in St Louis and went up to the top of the arch, although the picture I was most happy with was taken directly below it.
For those that do not know, to get to the top, you hop inside an egg shaped cabin and slowly wind your way skywards - an interesting experience!
This image was scanned in from a slide so I do not have any details on the shutter speed or focal length (sorry).
