[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took a road trip to Minnesota to pick up a Munchkin cat that I had chosen to adopt. Yesterday wasn't too bad, but it was cold. This morning was even colder, but me and my intrepid wiener cat were undaunted. I would jump out and grab photos while she basked in the warm car. This wind farm is one of the spots we photographed before we drove into the blizzard (that's another story.) It was so cold I had ice crystals in my beard within minutes. These wind mill generators are huge. Fortunately, this truck was driving near the closer wind mill to give you a full idea of how huge they are. I counted over fifty before I got sick of sorting them out.

This farm is north of a city named Dexter south of I90.

Great job on this capture. I saw these for the first time on a trip I made out west this past summer. None of my attempts came out near this nice. I wonder what it would cost to have just one of these put up on your property and how much of your daily electrical usage it could handle?
Good composition and nice POV!

Hi Hubert,
Fantastic shot; great combination of nature & architecture. The B&W tone makes it more effective & real. Well done.

Interesting severe landscape with smart vertical elements.
Regards.

I like the diagonal line draw by those windmills and the perspective give by this composition. The B&W is great.
Well done,
Jean-Claude

Hello Hubert ... this could be a scene out of Fargo (maybe you have seen the movie). There is certainly not much out here but fascinating in its own way. I find you have caught the mood of a cold and lonely winter day very well. I really love your work. Excellent. Have a good day, hopefully not as cold :)))) Barbara.

Wonderful Hubert, this goes straight to my favorites; very inspirational, minimalistic and with a great light. Outstanding composition, mix of old and new, vast landscape, all I love.

My compliments
TFS

Oh la la ! it exists a lot of pictures of Windmills, yes. But this one is very striking. Minimalist, with strong but balanced tones and clever composition , sharp. I also like the light grainy finish.
