Well, I survived finals. To celebrate, I took a road trip to Minnesota to pick up a Munchkin cat that I had chosen to adopt. Yesterday wasn't too bad, but it was cold. This morning was even colder, but me and my intrepid wiener cat were undaunted. I would jump out and grab photos while she basked in the warm car. This wind farm is one of the spots we photographed before we drove into the blizzard (that's another story.) It was so cold I had ice crystals in my beard within minutes. These wind mill generators are huge. Fortunately, this truck was driving near the closer wind mill to give you a full idea of how huge they are. I counted over fifty before I got sick of sorting them out. I also shot a bunch of film as well. Expect more images from this wind farm in the days to come.

This farm is north of a city named Dexter south of I90.

Hi Hubert,

you proofed here that you are a specialist for visual effects :) great contrast with the car, it´s even closer than the turbines. great light, too. I´m very interested in this field of alternative energy !
Cheers from Austria, Chris
