We were canoeing the Boundary Waters on the Canada border for a week. A quick storm moved in and we pulled into a small island to wait it out. When the rain lifted I saw this paddler making his way across the lake while a rainbow emerged. Lucky shot.

Critiques [Translate]

Hi Ted,
A superb composition and good timing to capture this photo. Very nice colours.
Maybe a less centred photo could have been better (less water and more sky), and needless to say, more sharpness. The boat is very soft... wait.. is this a scanned photo? That might explain the lack of sharpness.
Your gallery is quite nice, but you have given one critique in two years!.. come on!
Time to share your thoughts about other's work?
cheers
Jorge

Awesome lighting and composition. You should work on your scanning. Provia is an excellent film and should be scanned using a high end film scanner at high resolution.
