Photographer’s Note
I went out driving today along the Mississippi River and found a place I didn't know existed and I have been going to school in this area for 3 years now. It was like a tugboat graveyard. There were about a half a dozen tugs marooned up on the shore and tied down. They looked like they have been there for quite some time. I only got in a few shots before one of the boatyard workers saw me and told me to leave. This was my favorite one. Nothing fancy but I still like the detail and simplicity.

Great shot, Jeff! I really like the late afternoon sun (early morning?) and the cast it gives to the photo. The detail on the weathering is great too. I'd love to render this in B&W in a WS, but I'm out of workshops today. Maybe tomorrow. Check out my "Workhorse" photo in my gallery, for a tug in action. Nice capture.
