Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken during my internship in Minneapolis. Wonderful to have such colorful places next to a big city. That´s how the prairie should look like. It´t pitty that only a few places are left.

As you say this is definitely a difficult scene to find. It makes me think of the television show Little House on the Prairie. The landscape here, even in this tiny reserve, is very beautiful. the mix of wildflowers and wild grasses and the trees and buildings in the back really do make me travel over a hundred years into the past. Everything seems so natural here. It does seem a bit soft, too, as far as quality. Perhaps it could be sharpened. And maybe even some of the colors enhanced. But this is definitely a great capture of something that once stretched over vast areas and is today so difficult to find.

Hi Andreas,
What I love most about this photo here is the combination of the colourful flowers and herbs on the foreground which resembles the environment around of old style English garden. And the on trhe background, the two buidling (i guess it's a house) is just nice to make this photo balance and alive.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
DA
