Photographer’s Note
Not much to say about this shot really. It was taken before sunrise when the light coming from over the horizon was creating an interesting glow to the sky. I felt simplicity in this instance turned this ordinary tree into something much more. This was taken on my way out to catch the sunrise (my previous post). The shutter speed was actually 1.25 seconds but I couldn't choose that option and it didn't seem to read the EXIF properly. Enjoy

Kirk,
You are right, the color is extraordinary. I really like the glow. The tree is very stark, it reminds me that the season has changed and winter will soon be upon us.

Great light and color in this shot.
I like your title, but I think the picture also could be titled "Complexity". At least thats what all the tangled branches makes me think of.
